These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Rivendo (the "Service"), a web application operated by Luminary Enterprise FZE ("Rivendo", "we", "us"), a Free Zone Establishment registered in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (SRTI Park, Block B, Office B23-052, Sharjah, UAE). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
Rivendo helps people who resell second-hand items. You upload a photograph of an item; the Service uses artificial intelligence to identify likely brand, model and condition, estimates a market price, and generates draft listing text for third-party marketplaces (such as Vinted, Subito, Wallapop and eBay). Rivendo provides information and drafts only. All valuations and identifications are estimates and are not guaranteed. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and honesty of any listing you publish and for complying with the terms of each marketplace you use. Rivendo does not list, sell, or transact on any marketplace on your behalf.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date.
Rivendo offers a free tier (a limited number of trial scans) and a paid subscription, Rivendo Pro, at EUR 9.99 per month. Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). When you purchase a subscription, your contract of sale is with Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply. Paddle handles billing, currency conversion and applicable taxes (including EU VAT). Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Paddle's buyer terms.
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) create false, deceptive or infringing listings; (b) sell counterfeit, stolen or prohibited goods; (c) violate the rules of any marketplace or any applicable law; (d) upload content you do not have the right to upload; (e) attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service; or (f) use the Service to build a competing dataset or product by automated extraction.
The Service, including its software, design and content (excluding content you upload), is owned by Luminary Enterprise FZE and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the photographs and item information you upload, and you grant us a licence to process them to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Price estimates, identifications and generated listings are informational and may be inaccurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and we are not responsible for decisions you make, or sales you complete, based on the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rivendo and Luminary Enterprise FZE will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost sales. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (via Paddle) in the twelve months before the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm or legal risk. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of the UAE will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
